A jury indicted a white supremacist on charges that could earn him the death penalty in the fatal shooting of a security guard at the Holocaust Memorial Mueseum. Hate crimes charges have been added to the case against the man, James von Brunn, left, who has been in a hospital since the shooting last month.

Police are looking for this person in connection with the vandalism and theft of flat-screen televisions from apartments in San Antonio during June of 2009. He poses as a security guard, so he can get inside apartments and steal. Now, security cameras have captured images of the man, and a huge cash reward is being offered for his arrest.

On Sunday July 26, 2009 around 9:15 in the evening a Mexican man walked into Kroger's and approached two people at the cash register.  He shoved one of the victims out of his way and demanded money from the cashier.  He then tried running out of the store with the cash drawer but a 68 year old woman security officer struck him with her fist in an attempt to stop the robbery.  The robber fell to the ground and dropped the cash drawer.  He was able to grab some of the money before he fled the store.

Hip-hop comedian Katt Williams dodged a bullet Thursday when Manhattan prosecutors dropped gun charges against him. The raunchy funnyman was arrested Nov. 6, 2008, after cops allegedly spotted three guns in his 10-person posse's convoy. A probe found the weapons were registereed out-of-state to two of Williams' security guards, sources said.

San Diego man arrested in shooting of trolley guard- Los Angeles Times, LA, CA

 

An 18-year-old San Diego man has been arrested on suspicion of shooting a trolley system security guard in La Mesa and stealing his gun and ammunition. Marquise Loftis, arrested as he left his home this morning, is also suspected in an earlier attack on a trolley system security guard. That attack took place July 15 at the Encanto station. The guard's gun was stolen by his attacker, police said.

A health and wellness center at George Washington University was evacuated for authorities to investigate a possible chlorine leak. A possible leak on the second floor of the building located on G Street in Northwest was reported Wedneseday afternoon, D.C. fire department spokesman Pete Piringer said. A chlorine leak involving a swimming pool was contained in the building.
