A security guard was killed early Saturday morning as he worked at a private club on Illinois Street. Robin Lacy, 50, was standing at the club, near the intersection of 33rd and Illinois streets, when an out-of-control SUV barreled toward him, 6News Renee Jameson reported.

Gilbert Police arrested an on-duty security guard suspected of smoking and possessing marijuana. Nathan Francis, 21, was arrested on Gilbert Road near Civic Center Drive, where Police Department headquarters are located, on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m.
